Strong Condemnation of Terrorism

Hari Wan Naran Singh, Deputy Chairman of the Council of States of India, delivered a forceful response to Pakistan's allegations at the 148th session of the Interparliamentary Union Assembly in Geneva. Singh firmly rejected Pakistan's comments, highlighting India's position as the world's largest democracy. He emphasized the absurdity of Pakistan, with its poor record of democracy, attempting to lecture India.


Jammu and Kashmir's Integral Nature

Singh asserted that Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are an integral part of India and will remain so. He refuted Pakistan's claims and stated that these territories have always been and will continue to be an inseparable part of the nation.


Pakistan's Role in Terrorism

Singh strongly condemned Pakistan's support for terrorists, accusing the country of operating 'terror factories' that launch cross-border attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. He demanded that Pakistan cease its support for terrorism and take concrete steps to prevent such attacks.


Osama bin Laden's Shelter

Singh highlighted Pakistan's history of providing shelter to terrorists, citing the example of Osama bin Laden. He emphasized that Pakistan's complicity in harboring such dangerous individuals must not be tolerated.
